Our faculty, which aims to train qualified human resources for tourism, which is an applied field, has adopted the ability of our students to adapt to the sector more easily as one of its primary goals. In this context, our faculty cooperates closely with the industry and provides on-the-job practical training to senior students in one of the fall or spring semesters in enterprises located in Afyonkarahisar city center.
4th grade students of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and Tourism Management Department can take 30 ECTS On-the-Job Applied Training course. Within the scope of the optional course, students attend 5 working days a week and 8 hours of practical training in the fall or spring semester of the 4th grade, during the education period (15 weeks) in the hotel enterprises within Afyonkarahisar.
