In the computer laboratory, there are 50 computers with internet access that contain package programs related to tourism and hotel management and package programs related to travel management. In addition to vocational courses, students take intensive English and computer courses throughout their 4-year education at the faculty.
Afyon Kocatepe University’s Tourism and Hotel Management Program Education and Application Center are used by Faculty students for practical purposes. In the center, there are various social areas such as 14 rooms, 3 of which are suites, and an accommodation unit with 35 beds, a restaurant for 400 people, and a breakfast room for 40 people.
In order to adapt students to the sector more easily, our management gives great importance to the implementation of applied courses in cooperation with the sector. In line with the agreement made with five-star hotels in Afyonkarahisar city center, our students have the opportunity to practice in the relevant hotel businesses within the scope of “Front Office Management”, “Housekeeping Management” and “Food & Beverage Management” courses. Thanks to this program, it is aimed to contribute to the personal and professional development of our students, as well as to provide them with the opportunity to see the operations in hotel businesses properly.
There are 26 faculty members and staff, including 2 Professors, 6 Associate Professors, 6 Assistant Professors, 7 Lecturers and 5 Research Assistants, and 6 administrative staff within the faculty. On the other hand, lecturers from the required units and departments give the relevant courses related to the courses in the field of other disciplines.

They have the opportunity to find jobs as middle and senior managers in organizations. Curriculums and contents in the faculty departments serve this purpose and the wishes and needs of the relevant stakeholders are taken into account in the creation of these contents.
Faculty students have employment opportunities in the relevant units of public institutions and organizations according to the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) score.
